I just got this picture from Chispa Tattoo Family from Iquique, Chile of Alex and his son. Not that you can get in trouble for this sort of thing in most of South and Central America, but for the record, it’s a circular barbell turned upside down.

As a general rule I think rib tattoos look great on women, and I wanted to share this one by Jason Spainhour and Little John at Little John’s Tattoo in Greensboro, NC. The Arabic text says “Bahaullah” or “The Glory of God Triuphs Over Evil” (the Seal of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire), and there’s also a Baha’i element with the lotus flowers (I hope I haven’t misquoted the email).

When I get these photos, sometimes I get the crazy idea that I should put together a coffee table book of play piercing and self-cutting, professionally shot… or even a magazine.

Onega demonstrates the correct way to read the now out-of-print ModCon book. And yes, it really is out of print. I have about twenty copies here, and Ryan has about the same at the shop. No reprint is planned for the immediate future because there are new books in the queue, including part two to this book… So if we do put the last few into stock, grab them to avoid paying $200 used.
