- Held by Hooks, and Each Otherby JonathonFacilitators and practitioners — the very people who bring so many suspensions to life — often pour their energy into others, quietly setting aside their own opportunities. - Suspended, Not Silencedby JonathonThere’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension. We all build up ideas about ourselves—what we’re allowed to feel, how much we’re allowed to express, when it’s okay to break. That’s adorable. I used to do that when I was younger, too, or try and pretend I had a lip ring, etc.
I think it’s great that there are so many modified parents out there. They really help erase the prejudices that are around about modded people. Too many people I know removed their piercings when thy had kids.
