I’m continually reminded that Friday is traditionally BMEGirls day, and it’s not that I don’t want to post them on Fridays, I just don’t see the point of making everyone wait until Friday. Then there are the weeks where Friday rolls around, I check the newest submissions, and I find a shot like this one of the ravishing Allison.

Michael from Kipod Tattoo is back again, this time with an exquisite back piece. I want to say this is a bird of paradise based off the trailing green feathers, but the body isn’t positioned the way they normally are and there is no crest on the head. Although thinking of what kind of bird this is takes second place to just how incredible this looks.
I love how it isn’t intended to be centered in her back, giving the bird a better sense of motion. Michael’s also nailed the blending on the feathers without using any outline, a nice technique that gives the tattoo a sense of being painted on. You almost get a sense that at any moment the bird will come to life and fly off.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen UV ink tattoos on ModBlog, and while there have been advances in the inks, I’m sure there are still two sides to the debate as to whether or not to use them. Putting the debate to the side, this UV ink chest piece sent in by Kreynold is pretty impressive. If you can’t read the writing it says “I am Blessed” above a crown.

Seeing as how the last post was all about fighting, let’s keep the theme going. I remember when I was a young kid, my dad told me if I ever got into a fight to hit the other kid square in the nose. It’ll drop them to the ground and fill their eyes with tears.
Now when Seeingred got punched in the nose, his eyes certainly watered up, and a lot of blood started flowing. Of course he got his nose punched a little differently than a couple of kids in a fight would be capable of.
Dorian Vilify from Custom Steel and Ink in Flint, MI was the guy who got to punch him in the nose.. with a 2g punch.
