A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Guess What?

Since the new year the Guess What game has been put on permanent hiatus, which means that when a post does come up, it’s going to be something good.  The great thing about this post is that I don’t have to crop anything.  This is more of a “Guess Where”, as in where did this bit of flesh come from?

Got any ideas?  Keep reading to see if you’re right…

For those of you who guessed foreskin, or some other form of genital flesh removal, you’re going to be a little shocked.  You see, that strip of flesh was actually the leftovers from Ronnie’s earlobe reconstruction.

The reconstruction job was performed by Quentin from Kalima Emporium in Worthing, UK.

  • It’s a good morning

Rise and shine North American ModBlog readers, the sun is out (probably) and spring is here.  For those of you on the top half of the planet, it’ll be morning eventually, and for those in the Southern Hemisphere, you’ve got fall to look forward to.

What better day than today to dig up a dashingly handsome BMEBoy.  atmosphericchaos is looking damn fine in this photo he sent into the BMEBoys gallery.

  • Eat your heart out Clive Barker

I first saw these photos on G333‘s page 2 weeks ago, and I knew right away they needed to be posted on ModBlog.  These are just three of the many photos from this shoot, all of which can be found in the play piercing gallery.  I’m in awe of how incredible these look.  Photo credit belongs to Gene Laakso from NJB Photography.

  • Back to Brisbane

One of the artists the BME World Tour interviewed, Brendan O’Connor, is back today showing off a magnificent full back piece.

You see the rest of the piece by reading on.

Brendan is now working out of Seventh Circle Studio in Brisbane, and you can check out more of his recent works, including close-ups of this piece in the oriental style tattoo gallery.

  • Bring It!

You know it was bound to happen soon enough.  In fact I’ve seen several Charlie Sheen tattoos over the past week, but when I saw this one sent in by Alie K (IAM: alouicious) I knew we had a winner. Over the weekend she’s been featured on  Fox News, Gawker, countless blogs and websites, and even had her image stolen by the Weekly World News without giving her any credit.

Alie tells me there’s still a little bit of work left to be done in the face, and background, but for the most part it’s finished.  The owner of this piece?  One of her co-workers at Adrenaline Tattoo in Toronto.  You can check out more of Alie’s non Charlie Sheen work in her BME Portfolio Gallery.  Keep an eye on her gallery, as she tells me she’s got some great photos of a piece of hers that recently won 1st place for most realistic at the Sydney Tattoo Convention.
