A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • 98 Problems and a Cross Ain’t One

Now this is something I was to see healed up.  This was taken just minutes after it was finished, so it’s hard to tell how the microdermals are going to hold up.  As you’ve probably guessed, this one is also by Nesh Cash from Tribal Trading Tilburg in Tilburg, The Netherlands.  Nesh is the one behind the other microdermal projects we’ve been seeing all week.

Oh, and to save you the counting, that would be 98 individual microdermals making up that cross.

  • Days go by

Sure the hourglass makes you think of time moving forward, but it’s the old school style of this tattoo that reigns in the forward movement.  While the sands are constantly flowing, the world outside is holding on to the past, making sure that the lessons of the past are remembered and carried forward.

  • In brightest day…

In brightest day, in blackest night,

No geeky scar will escape my sight.

Southtownbaby is one nerdy artist.  She’s been piercing for a few years now, and has started getting into scarification work.  This piece in particular was done on a friend, and from what I can see she’s doing a great job.  So keep an eye on the scarification galleries for more of her work.  And before you ask for a follow-up on this one, it’s already in the works.  Hopefully we’ll see it either this week or next.

  • Do you like gooooold?

This golden god is none other than Arseniy Andersson from the #Leeds Suspension team out of Russia.  From the description it appears this was taken during one of their live shows.  Also, I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that hair isn’t a wig.  Oh, and in case you didn’t notice, check out his left forearm to see some of his self-done implants.

  • It’s time for something a little harder

I contemplated turning this into a “guess what”, but I think that would lessen the significance of this particular modification.  It’s not very often we see a partial penectomy, so when I saw this in the queue I knew it had to be posted.

    filterpartial

While today’s earlier photoshopping was excessive, this one is pretty much mandatory.

With a partial penectomy, there is obviously going to be some kind of sensation loss, and according to Chatdord (and google translator) he has managed to remove all sensation from the glans.  With how the tissue looks, I’m going to guess that after the cut, he used something to cauterize the wound.  He also has mentioned that he’s been filming his progress, and hopes to make a video montage of everything that he plans on doing.  So keep an eye on the BMEHard galleries to see more from Chatdord.
