A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Knit one, pierce two

Aside from being a piercer, Miss Cale is an avid knitter.  So when she breaks out the play piercing needles, it’s a chance for her to mix together work and pleasure.

This is also a new record for Cale: 84 needles in one sitting.  She pierces out of True Blue Tattoo in Lakewood, CO.  You can see more of this fun little project in her BME portfolio gallery.

  • Scripted Legs

I’m going to end today with a somewhat simple tattoo.  Although it’s pretty unfair to call what Joey Pang does as anything close to simple.  Working out of her studio, Tattoo Temple in Hong Kong, Joey has shown time and time again she is a master of Chinese calligraphy.

I’m convinced she has a custom machine big enough to hold enough needles to make these paintbrush strokes in one pass.

  • Thunderbolts and Lightning

This bust of Zeus is anything but frightning.

EDIT: And by Zeus I mean Michelangelo’s “Moses”

Tattoo by Arad Bert, Kipod Tattoo, Tel Aviv.

  • Kickin’ it old school

This very traditional looking piece also comes from Kipod Tattoo in Tel Aviv.  This time the artist is Alexey Zamotevsky.

You’ll definitely want to check out the rest of it in the Kipod Tattoo portfolio.

  • Sharks with laser beams?

That’s child’s play compared to a T-rex with chainsaws for hands!

    Vroom indeed.

The artist, Joshua Ross, works out of Mind’s Eye Tattoo in Emmaus, PA
