A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Bright ideas

According to Marissa, this will probably be the last time anyone sees this design.  This is one of those great examples of just how personal a tattoo can be.  We’ve all had moments where some stranger has asked us “what does that mean?”, hell it happened last night to me with a particularly nosy waiter.  For Marissa, she knows that the tattoo is there, she knows what it looks like, and what it means to her.  Which is all that should matter.

  • Time to brush up on your Mandalorian

Today’s winner of the nerdiest scar contest goes to this scar by John Joyce.

For those not “in the know”, Boba Fett was a Mandalorian warrior turned bounty hunter.  I could be wrong about the translation but I believe the above reads “Adryanna”.

  • 4 hookers, 1 hook

Here’s another photo of the shenanigans that transpired at the recent Oslo Suscon. With help from Wings of Desire, Stanislav from the Moscow based Sinner Team hangs from a single hook while his wife Elena and two other women all hang onto him.  You can see Håvve in the background keeping a close eye on the hook.  Having seen that look on his face, while holding that flashlight, I can tell you that if anything were to have happened he would have been on top of it in an instant.  Thankfully everything went well and we’ve got the photos to prove it.

  • Now this is a green lantern

Jackie Rabbit has quickly established herself as an artist to watch out for.  We’ve seen a lot of her work on ModBlog over the past few months, and for good reason.  Her art doesn’t always fit into one genre, yet it all comes out looking great.  This one in particular is an interesting one as it’s her first time using UV ink.  Sadly the darkened image is a little blurry, which I’m assuming is the result of the low light, however you can see that she used the UV ink to highlight the bodies of the fireflies and the edges of the leaves.  For a first attempt, I’d say she did a great job.

  • Pulling the line

With help from Andrew and Kelvikta the Blade from Swing Shift Side Show, as well as Lukas Larson and Will Robinson, SirPerrald and a friend had themselves a fun time with a pull.  This took place during the final days of this year’s APP conference, and it really shows the transition two people can undergo when pulling.  In the first photo, they’re relaxing, hanging on to each other, yet in the next they’re doing everything in their power to pull apart.  Because of the contrast with the first photo, we can see just how significant this pull is to them.  While they may have things inside each other pulling them apart, they’re connected by something stronger than both of them.  A bond that links them together, preventing them from separating.
