Here are a pair of scars that are healing quite differently. The scary face is by Martin Kraus of Gelocht&ScharfGestochen (great name) in Neuss, Germany, and the second is by Baz Black in Dundalk, Ireland. Of course Baz’s is at a later state of healing, and Martin’s is just under a month old here, but as you can see, so far the skin removal face is getting an “inset” appearance, whereas the cut web has raised up with a nice even scar. You can zoom them both for a closer look.

Here’s a beautiful shot of Lu, Yann Breny, and Melodie Gissel suspending, photoshopped to make it look like they’re hung up in an art gallery. I’m presenting it like that because this wonderful shot makes a superb background image for desktops I think!!! I am in deep, deep trouble if my piggy-back-ride-loving daughter walks into the room as I’m posting and sees this picture. As if it doesn’t already strain me enough lugging around a squirming 80 pound kid without having to also deal with flesh hooks as well. Of course, they do things a little differently down in Brazil, as Diabos Mutantes shows.

Perhaps you have always wondered how burly masculine fellows can stomach getting an off-centre upper lip labret piercing, since all their proper names are girlie — “Monroe”, “Madonna”, or the largely archaic “Chrome Crawford”. Adam Richins of Warlock’s Tattoo and Body Piercing in North Carolina solved that problem when he did these on Brad Smith, starting nice and big and strong at lucky 7mm, and dubbing them MANROES. Works for me. But Adam, what were you thinking giving him PINK jewelry!?!? All that manly progress put at risk!
PS. If you’re especially sharp-eyed, you can see Brad’s original off-centre lower labrets, which were also large gauge.

Kim “Skin Seamstress” Hutchinson (IAM: zombieprincess) has a long history of appearances on ModBlog, and with good reason. She’s a skilled piercer that often assists photographers and models through play piercings, corsets, etc. This shoot in particular was of Laura’s first corset, with photography by Sally Anderson. What I like about it is that it’s reminiscent of wedding photos, specifically the bride getting ready. While I don’t know the specific reasons behind the shoot, I do know that the end result was some great photos of a beautiful woman.
