  • Tattoo What You Love

    …and in this case, Jason really loves his BBQ, a Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker — he owns two of them, which he uses to compete in barbecue contests. The tattoo of his smoker was done by Justin at Finishing Touch Ink in Mattoon, Illinois… I am reminded of this bacon armband.

    Alexis‘s tattoo is great work but what I’m super jealous of is that he got to play in this very fun looking free diving pool — he’s a free diving instructor! I’d love to hear his input on it, but I’m sure there’s enormous crossover between free diving and suspension and body ritual as BME covers.     On his own, he’s just a six, but when Brad and his friends get together, they do the devil’s work. Their brands are DIY pieces done with a coat hanger. Before you say anything, coat hangers actually work quite well for branding and are very capable, even in an inexperienced DIY context, of producing very nice results.

    Ah, an entry for math majors to fill their fantasies with… Elizabeth got this great start on her fibonacci sequence tattoo with a 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ band, representing 3 and 5 in the sequence (so she’s 2/5 done). Jeff at Oddball in Portland, OR is doing the tattoo for her.
