A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Suspension Piercings to Surface Piercings

You may remember that a while back I mentioned some beautiful Czech suspensions in which the piercings were retained afterwards. My friend Stormchaser, who you may know best for his amazing deep and permanent piercings through his bicep and other intense locations, also chose to sustain his suspension piercings, which are three and four months old in these pictures. I believe the piercings are by Sharon Looy at Dare2Wear in Amsterdam, and the suspension was assisted by Chandler with Berlin Superfly in Germany.

There’s a full back shot after the break.

  • Aztec Backpiece

I really like Doran‘s backpiece, done by Rob Coutts at Bobby Five here in Toronto. Hopefully I have not mislabeled it!

Update: Of course I did mislabel it; as a couple people have pointed out the design is Mochica, from Perú, and predates the Aztec and Mayan cultures.

  • Getting Scalped

I would think that the annoyance factor of this piercing would be very high — hair getting wrapped around it and oily buildup requiring more cleaning than most perhaps… But I always get a kick out of people who are driven for whatever reason to get a piercing in an oddball location. This “scalp piercing” was done by Damien Caskey at Monsterz Ink in Sylmar, California.

  • Foot Sole Tattoos

You may remember that I posted Valentxne recently due to (self-professed) “slut factor“, but she sent in a great photo of her foot sole tattoos of a pair of bikes, done by Brian Mullen of Art Freek in Providence, so I wanted to post her again. I was surprised to find out that these tattoos were over a year old now and not retouched! Because they healed so well, I asked her if Brian did anything special to get them to hold, and she replied,

I messaged Brian and asked if he used a special technique. His response: “Yeah, it’s called not sucking.” Ha! It hurt something awful, probably the most painful tattoo I’ve ever gotten (including inner lip, hands, back of thigh, elbow, shin, chest, etc). Plus he was telling a story while he was doing it, so he would stop every few seconds because he talks with his hands, so it took forever. It wasn’t ticklish at all, except maybe when he was applying the stencil. But I’m glad he was so heavy handed with it, otherwise they would look like the sides of my hands, which are about six months old and look like shit.

  • Paul Oneball Interview Posted

The second of today’s two interviews being moved over from the BodyTwo archives is “Paul Oneball”, an interview about a man who’s used silicone augmentation to restore his genitals after they were damaged due to cancer. I’ve got loads more interviews covering a wide range of subjects (from tattoos to the extreme) in the queue, so I wanted to get these older ones posted to make space for the new. Click on through to read it if you haven’t already.
