This giant black chest bar (which I would have loved to tag aggressively) belongs to Marcell, who was tattooed by Jerson Filho at Jerson Tattoo Studio in Brasília, Brazil… I don’t know if anyone remembers, but about ten years ago there were photos in the tattoo magazines of a pretty Asian girl that had a similar tattoo across her forehead, almost like cartoon Groucho Marx eyebrows — anyone that might have a photo of that one, please post a picture of it and link it from the comment forum (and if you know why, please tell me)!

Not only is he an amazing tattoo artist, but he’s loads of fun to wrestle (so I hear). If I make it to Belgium again (last time I was there I was in bad shape and a bit of a druggie), I’m going to try and do both. I’m a big fan of both him and his muse (who you know best from Needled.com).

Getting tattooed on the beach

Slashface was traveling in Koh Chang, Thailand and while on the lonely beach he came across Blue’s bamboo beachfront tattoo hut, and decided to get a skeletal
horseanimal of some sort done. He describes the process of having the tattoo done using traditional hand-poking as “slow and painful”, but the results seem good. But I do wonder if Blue’s taken a blood borne pathogens course?
