MG’s daughter drew this picture at the age of five for them, and it was then later inked by Justin at Fry Street Ink in Denton, TX, home of the best ever death metal band, Satan’s Fingers.
To the best of my knowledge these temporary self cuttings are not child-designed, but they certainly have a charming child-like quality to them. They’re by IAM:farfromwater who I’m betting is an interesting guy.

It’s funny, I try not to feature one artist more than others on ModBlog, and when I’m choosing which pictures to add, they’re from a folder of stuff Phil has put aside for me and I don’t even see who did it until I write the entry. But still, for some reason, certain people keep getting featured… Thanks again to Joy Rumore for another (remember the dog portrait tattoo posted recently) very nice tattoo, this time of a stylized heart that I think many will enjoy.

Drunk Inking

I’ve commented in the past that I was going to get tattooed some time in Scotland because they let you drink beer while you’re having work done (or at least some people will)… Well, it seems like the Tiger Tattoo Bar in Pattaya, Thailand really must be part bar literally if the pictures of beer and cigarettes inside its walls aren’t misleading me.
He got stylized wings tattooed, and it looks like they turned out just fine (and arguably dramatically better than the average street tattoo in Thailand). Anyway,enjoy your weekend everyone — ModBlog returns next on Monday night.
