Sandy Vag Toe Tattoo
Written by
I admit, I
had tocouldn’t stop myself from looking it up — according to the dictionary this means “someone who is rude or difficult due to sand irritating their vagina.”. I’m not so sure it’s the toe tattoo that I’d choose for myself, ha, but Christfuck says at least it’s a conversation piece — ink by Ish at Tattoo City in Monroe, Ohio. -
Pinup Backpiece

My friend and photographer Efrain Gonzalez sends in this photo of a series of pinup tattoos taken at the recent NYC Tattoo Convention (2006). Let’s see… since I like making everything a game, how many of the pinups can you identify by name?

Gadsen Flag Tattoo
Written by
Since I’m currently in America, I thought I’d share Scott’s Liberty or Death tattoo, by Big James at Artistic Armor (love the name of the studio by the way) in Tampa, Florida. Scott writes,
The rattlesnake is taken from a Revolutionary War era "Gadsden Flag". It represents colonists standing up to England — "She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. She never wounds 'till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy."
Anyway, I’ll try and post more when I get back on Tuesday, but officially I’m starting up again on Wednesday and will also start working on an entirely new format for ModBlog shortly to make it more searchable and so on.

Bruce Potts ROCKS!

Best school teacher ever? I don’t know, because I never took a class under him. But coolest ex-teacher ever? Definitely. And thus he gets to stay at the top of ModBlog until I get back from Carlilse and NYC! Anyway, go say hello to Bruce over at IAM:tribalface and meet one of the most remarkable men in this community with one of the wildest look (that he had to wait until he retired to get).
