A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • More amazing work from the freaky swastika…

John Durante, like Ron Garza, (who I mentioned not too long ago) is another great example of a body modification renaissance man.  He owns and runs the extremely popular Evolve Body Jewelry Company, offers piercing and scarification out of Laughing Buddha as well as on the road, and he travels extensively to integrate himself into all aspects of this community of ours.

Amongst his travels he had the chance to get this amazing tattoo by a favorite amongst Modblog readers, Marc from the now defunct, Swastika Freakshop.

  • Where did all the BME Boys go?

So far only one BME Boys Calendar entry has been posted. It seems the boys are a good bit shyer than the girls when it comes to submitting pictures. Hopefully, this post reminds him and some other BME Boys to submit pics to Lexci, either via her IAM page or the email address connected to her bio below her post. You can also email me ([email protected]), and just make the submission BME Boys Calendar, and I will get it forwarded to her.

While perusing the galleries I came across this Brazillian BME Boy, Raldy, who I thought some of you might be into. Since he didn’t submit this picture for the calendar, it is not here to vote on.

  • Tasty Tasty Tattoos

Once upon a time I was at work and got a ferocious craving for a corn dog. We searched all the local delivery joints and even the grocery store and not a single corn dog was to be found anywhere! To make sure I NEVER had to be without a corn dog again, I got one tattooed upon my shin that very night.

I doubt shahafpoint, being a vegetarian would ever get a tasty, tasty corn dog tattooed upon him, but his  corn schnitzel tattoo (by Snir Zelman in Israel) is damn cool none the less.

You may also remember his Tic Tac tattoo tribute to his grandmother, can we expect more tasty, tasty tattoos on him in the future?

  • Witty titles fail me today

What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good looking boy standing by some train tracks. It just so happens that Georgio fits the bill. The colour in his tattoos is really eye catching.

  • I heard you fell into a rabbit hole…

Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a fan of Alice in Wonderland, in all of its incarnations (in other words, not just Disney). I’ve got a small collection of various Alice in Wonderland related “stuff” like dolls, postcards, comic books, even a belt buckle, and the novels themselves, of course. It probably goes without saying that I’m quite looking forward to the new Tim Burton movie, which opens March 5th.

In honour of that very special occasion, I bring you Alice inspired tattoos!  All images can be found in BME’s tattoo galleries.  Enjoy and remember, we’re all mad here!
