A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Anatomical Hand Tattoo

Following up on the various anatomical tattoos I’ve posted in the last week or so, here’s one that’s less skeletal, done by Rick Scholten at Veni Vidi Vici Tattoo in Beverwijk, The Netherlands.

  • Rick Payne

I got an email from Rick Payne of his tattoos by Scotty “Flying Ace” Lowe at Shotsie’s in Wayne, NJ — he says to watch out for him on the upcoming Protect Me If You Can reality show (as in bodyguard skills; the site appears to be offline right now but it was up yesterday so I assume that’s temporary).

  • What a nice shirt you have!

So I was thinking, wow, Paul got a really cool tribal-print t-shirt, and then I’m like… oh! that’s a tattoo! This great chestpiece is by Hannes from Blut & Eisen in Berlin, Germany (the wrist bands are just drawn on).

  • Bumblebees and Tractors

It’s pretty common when tattoo artists go to the bathroom or out for lunch, for someone else in their shop to “borrow” their not-logged-out-of IAM page and express their undying love for donkey love. It’s worse though when Cere‘s hanging out at the shop, because he’s moved past messing with people’s computers to messing with their tattoo machines… That said, I have to admit the “JOHN CERE” tractor is pretty funny! Beware if you see him lurking about Beelistic Tattoos in Cincinnati (previously).

  • Pi day? I prefer PIE DAY!

If yesterday was Pi Day, then let me offer something to those of you who are bad spellers and were terribly disappointed in the geekiness of it all. Here’s Leanne‘s cherry pie tattoo done by James at White Knuckle Tattoo in Westlake, Ohio.
