This photo has been mirrored — when Brenno (say hi to him at APP) from Body Factory in Trieste, Italy did this skin removal, it was reversed so the wearer could read it in the mirror. I assume no one needs a translation.

Victorian-style Filigree Collaboration Cutting
Written by
Wayde Dunn (waydedunn.com), one of the most talented scarification artists out there, is visiting the US right now and is guest spotting with Ron Garza (rongarza.com) in Los Angeles until the end of the month (as in the end of April 2007), with whom he did this collaboration cutting, a pair of Victorian style filigree cuttings are on iam:xoTeresaxo — she’s standing in front of a mirror so you can see both the left and right side. This is the third large piece he’s done in LA so far (if you’re interested in work by either him or Ron, or both, you can contact them on IAM or via their websites).
It’s really quite thrilling to see how evolved scarification is becoming as an artform. Remember to set your calendars — Scar Wars III is being held in October 2007.
