At first when I saw this photo, the tourist posing with photographs from super heroes on Hollywood Blvd popped into my head. Luckily enough for us though this is just one kick ass couple that met through BME. I love the juxtaposition of his heavily modified face and her perfectly plain skin. Gnomoweb and his bride to be are yet another couple from Brasil. š

One of the biggest ātrendsā in body modification āfashionā has been the decorative threaded end. Iāve seen Body Visionās assortment and itās pretty killer, especially with everyone from gangster dudes to soccer momās sporting the tear drop microdermal these days. Itās a way to customize the jewelry for yourself and I think itās pretty cool. I donāt know if this 14k yellow gold anchor is one of theirs but they make all kinds of threaded ends to suit whatever your needs are. This is Allen and he apparently did the microdermal himself at Superfly Tattoo in San Diego, California.
