  • The Monday Follow-up

    Since I was away last week, we didn’t get a chance to see a Friday Follow-up.  Well to make it up to you, I’ve got a follow-up of a scar that I promised I would deliver.

    Two weeks ago I posted a scar by Brian of a lion.  Due to the nature of how the person scarred, I had a feeling the scar would turn out to be pretty impressive.

    As I mentioned before, that circular scar is a remnant from a case of chicken pox, meaning the scar tissue of the lion may very will puff up as well.  To see how the scar looks now, you know what to do.

    Sure enough the scar turned out great.  Brian used cuts of different depths to give the mane the layered look it has, with the deepest cuts being used for the outlines of the face and paws.  Brian did a lot of work in Ohio over the weekend, so keep an eye on his gallery to see his latest creations.

    It seems that Brian Decker guy has been busy again.  Here’s his latest scar/brand piece.

    It’s mostly a scar piece, but Brian finishes his work up with some branding which gives the scar a different texture, making it appear to be shaded.  You can see more of Brian’s work in his BME Portfolio Gallery.

    Hey guys and gals, it’s time for this week’s edition of the Friday Follow-up.  This time around we’ve got a lily cutting done by IAM:kcir.

    To see the healed version, you know what to do.

    Now there wasn’t a time frame given between the photos, but I know kcir checks ModBlog so hopefully he’ll be kind enough to give us some idea of how far along into healing this scar is.

  • Knit one, pierce two

    Aside from being a piercer, Miss Cale is an avid knitter.  So when she breaks out the play piercing needles, it’s a chance for her to mix together work and pleasure.

    This is also a new record for Cale: 84 needles in one sitting.  She pierces out of True Blue Tattoo in Lakewood, CO.  You can see more of this fun little project in her BME portfolio gallery.

  • Hitting the gym

    Fad workouts come and go, but if you want a real workout, strap some weights to a rope and pull them up using your flesh.  Take that p90x!

    The handsome devil showing off his workout routine is none other than Trav_Vegas.  Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to be at the gym in 26 minutes.

    Also, it’s election day in Canada.  So if you’re a Canuck and you haven’t voted yet, get out there and vote!
