A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • “Bored and stoned”

You know, I’ve seen how this sort of thing can turn out before…

  • A Lot of Corporate Logos

Capitalism is even starting to permeate the world of scarification, as this client of Rodri’s (Madrid, Spain) who’s already tattooed himself with lots of his favorite logos moves on to skin removal work! Click through for a close-up.

  • Jimmy James pulls a car with his taint

File this in either the “Fakir is rolling over in his grave” or the “Some people will do anything for attention” or the “Physical comedy is much funnier in the 21st century” categories. And don’t ask me what the wet spot on the pavement is — I don’t know and I don’t want to know. Allen writes,

We are here at the Southwest Suscon hosted by Ascension. Emrys (iam:TylerDurden) and Jason (iam:jason) from ROP did the piercings — two six gauge hooks. Jimmy James (watch for his IAM page in a couple days) only pulled the car a few feet because he was tearing pretty bad. The hooks were migrating into each other… but he’s fine… he was seen riding a bike about twenty minutes later.

  • Eyelid Tattoos – 20 Years Old!

Holy moley, I really really love these photos (there’s a second if you click through) of Micah and his father (they sure look alike!). I’ll let Micah explain —

I thought you’d get a kick out of these. After about twelve years, I reconnected with my dad (this was last summer — I’m just slow at getting pictures developed). Anyway, here are some shots of us in Gloucester, MA. Yes, those are tattoos of eyes on his eyelids. They’re about twenty years old and were done by Big Joe Kaplan at his shop in Mt. Vernon, NY and twenty years later, my dad still thinks they’re the funniest thing in the world!

I think the whole “nature vs. nurture” thing applies here… considering I barely knew him growing up, and hadn’t seen him but once in twelve years (and who knows how long before that).

  • “ET” inspired suspension?

Photo c/o Freakboy; a bike suspension by Jimi of Diabos Mutantes, Sao Paulo, Brasil.

  • I told you yesterday I’d be posting this!

I think it’s rather funny MissDuveaux, Lefrog, Christiane, Ilya, Allen (who’s got quite infected on the long ride home), Muffe, Havve, and others decided to brand themselves at the Oslo Suscon BBQ, oldschool style, since they’re all people that should “know better”. But really, sometimes that’s when doing silly things is by far the most fun… Ah, fond memories of watching Surburbia as a kid… TR!

  • Show me your frenum piercing

People find the funniest ways to pose with piercings. What, you thought this was going to be an entry on DIY branding using an inappropriate tool or something? Don’t worry, that’s coming up tomorrow.

  • Eyebrow to Anti-Eyebrow Industrial Piercing

Pete in Australia (The Piercing Urge) wrote me about a silly experiment he did on William, a client of his that always wants the most outrageous piercing possible… Neither of them really expect this to last* (I assume William has facial expressions — I suppose this is most suited to someone with Bell’s Palsy), but it does look kind of funny for now.

All piercings except the bridge are by Pete.

    * To be clear, this is basically a play piercing!

  • Spider Man Sleeve

This is perhaps the geekiest comic-themed tattoo that I’ve seen! Godzilla just finished up a Spiderman sleeve on his leg, done by Andy at Inkslingers in Newcastle, UK.

  • Tongue Wagon

    Mr. Biggelsworth strikes again!
