A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Make a wish

If you wished for another amazing scar by Brian, then consider your wish fulfilled.

This dandelion cutting was done in conjuncture with a low setting hyfrecator branding.  This isn’t the only cutting/branding combo Brian has done, so head over to his BME portfolio gallery and check the rest out.

  • These aren’t the droids we’re looking for

Leave it to Brian to yet another nerdy scar that looks incredible.  I talked to Brian shortly before he started work on this piece at the Philly tattoo convention, and asked him about what technique he was going to use.  If you recall the last Star Wars scar he did he combined both cutting and branding to create a phenomenal piece.  Well it turns out that branding wasn’t an option this time around as the smell of burning flesh tends to overpower other scents.

In any case, you can see that even without branding this scar turned out fantastic.

Head on over to Brian’s BME portfolio gallery to see some of the other scars that he did at the convention.

  • The Follow-up

This Friday Tuesday Follow-up is going to be the last one of the year, and since I’ll be on my way to the BME New Year’s Eve party on Friday, I thought I should get it to you guys and gals as soon as possible.

This week’s scar was sent in by the lovely Miss V.  At last year’s Philly Tattoo Convention, Brian sat down to carve out these honeysuckles onto V’s back.  Here’s what it looked like back then.

To see how it looks today, you know what to do.

And yes, she had just stepped out of the shower to take that picture.  Taking a look at V’s scar gallery on her IAM page, this isn’t the only scar she has that has healed beautifully.  In fact, this isn’t the only scar she has that Brian has done.  You can check out more in his BME scar portfolio.

  • Now witness the firepower of this fully scarred and branded battle station

He’s done it again folks.  Brian has managed to blend scarification and branding together to create a brilliant replication of the Death Star from Return of the Jedi.  On top of that he’s added a Darth Vader scar to go along side it.  According to Brian this is just the beginning of an entire Scar Wars sleeve, in which the wearer will eventually incorporate tattooing to compliment the scars.

Brian is also going to be appearing at the Philly Tattoo convention next year and has some open spots available if you’re looking to get some scar work done.

Make sure you go and check out Brian’s BME gallery to see more scars by him.

  • Three week reversal

The tongue is an incredible part of the human anatomy.  Considering the fact that when it is split down the middle it not only remains perfectly functional, but each half can be moved independently of the other.  Of course to some people who have their tongue split, there may come a day when they wish to have it reversed.  This is where Brian comes in.  You see, not only does Brian excel at scarification and every other mod he can think of, he’s also able to expertly reverse the process of a tongue split.

Take a look at this recent reversal.

    Fresh

Now take a look at the tongue only three weeks later..

From here it looks like the tongue never was split to begin with.  An impressive feat by both Brian, and the almighty tongue.
