I don’t know if it moves me into an exploitative way of thinking, but I really enjoy seeing a combination of developmental abnormalities and body modification. This is a simple example on Scarlet, a pair of piercings between fused toes, done by IAM:PiercedPirate (Zak at Tattoos Unlimited in Morehead, KY). It’s still healing in the photo here but he tells me they’re doing fine now.

Perhaps you’ve noticed that ModBlog has been offline for some of today. Yeah, I’m not thrilled about it either. I don’t think I can legally post the home address of the ISP folks responsible so an angry reader can burn down their house, so let me just wish this sad fate upon them: I hope because BME was offline thanks to your incompetence, that your kids don’t learn how to find a decent piercer and get Hepatitis C at some no-glove home piercing party.
OK, I don’t really hope that, but seriously, having servers offline makes me crazy. Sorry!
