A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • It’s torture I tell you.

Seriously. It’s a nice kind of torture and all, and I’m definitely not complaining, but on one very small level, getting regular photos of gorgeous modified girls like Copper_Wire (nipple piercings by Adam Aries at Darkwave in Boston, MA) is torment to a single guy like me. That said, luckily I appreciate and even seek out torment I think.

  • Muddy in San Jose

Ron Garza sends in this photo from the Norcal Suscon Runaway Party… don’t fall!

  • Big black bars

I don’t know if they’re a coverup, but I love the big blackwork tattoos in this great DIY play piercing photo from knifeinthemarathon a lot.

  • Vampire’s Slave

This scrawny git got his conches dermal punched, and now they won’t stop bleeding… Luckily (or unluckily) he lives in the basement of a Ravenloft Castle and is slowly being drained of his fluids anyway.

  • So cute, even with clothes

little miss strange, previously featured in socks alone.

  • Heart Shaped Earlobe Scalpelling

I think this won’t last with definition in the long run unfortunately (and I’m not not sure it’s meant to; if it is, please keep us updated!), but here’s some cute heart-shaped shots of Vampryixie‘s lobe scalpelling.

  • Abnorm

I really like how the new red flesh-themed tattooing on the right side of Abnorm‘s head is bringing out his tribal tattoo work (and implants).

  • Chicks dig piercings

Via cute overload (thanks to painted lady for the tip):

  • Oldschool Leatherpunch Piercing

Other than the issues of sterilization and contamination, the leather punch is a remarkably functional body piercing tool. I know several people who are now well-respected piercers who used them to do their first (self) piercings! It creates a hole analogous to a dermal punch, comes in a wide range of sizes, and makes a remarkably clean cut on each side — now, to be clear, I’m not recommending it, and these days it’s cheaper and easier to go to a professional than to buy a leather punch, but the fact is that the majority of the time, they’re a very functional DIY tool!

  • Coral’s Head Got Chopped Off!!!

    Oh No!

The fresh lobe piercing is by Reverend Decay by American Tattoo in Knoxville, MD. Seriously, test of where your brain lies: what did you notice first? The bloody piercing, the seemingly chopped off head, or the cleavage? If you noticed the cleavage first, you’re either on the wrong blog or are completely desensitized to blood and can give yourself a pat on the back.
