A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Is That A Moth On Your Neck..

Or are you just pleased to see me? I must admit I’m not a huge fan of moths, not that I’d kill one of course, but it’s pretty unlikely you’ll see me French kissing this chaps neck anytime soon!

This neck piece of mine is my first really visible tattoo. The majority of my work is hidden under my t-shirt and I have a small wrist piece that can be covered by a watch. I have the majority of my pieces planned out and I wanted to move to something visible. I don’t have any deep meanings to the piece, I just love the way the Death’s-head Hawkmoth looks, that and The Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorite movies! I was recommended by my artist at the time to see another tattooist due to the complexity of the piece and where it was going to be located. After about three and a half hours of work I could see why she recommended him! We flew through the work and for the area that we did it in it was relatively painless. I watched movies (I’m a bit of a film buff) upside down while he worked, although sadly I hadn’t brought The Silence of the Lambs to watch..

Here’s a couple of cuties to start the morning your day off with..

On the left is Vern bonding with a friends kitten, and on the right is part of Pauly and his cat, Mr. Biggelsworth.

  • Beyond the Chin

I love this movie and I already have a portrait of Emily on my arm.. The symbol is one of the seven gateways to hell and is going to be coloured black later, but I wanted to try out white first!
