Thanks to DJ Polly from Brasil for these photos of her and her hero and best friend, her dad. He got his tattoo (left picture of course) fifty years ago, and now his daughter has a matching tattoo inspired by his. Awww, isn’t that sweet!

Hardy Lips: Lip Plumper
Written by
Our friend Lara knows more about cosmeticsthan almost anyone Iknow. Always on the lookout for something to entertainthe masses, she sent me this link to Hardy LipsLip Plumper.
The Lip Plumper seems to be one of the clear glosses with magicalingredients that create a beestung look to one’s lips. At $24.95a pop, it might seem a bit expensive, but it’s far cheaper thanpermanent cosmetics. Furthermore, the art on the container islovely. (If someone would like to buy me a tube, I’ll post Beforeand After pictures of my lips. I promise.)
Expect from me some Modblogs to help with your holidayshopping. This is definitely an item I’d suggest for a lady who likes themostly-natural look and who appreciates good packaging.

Super Pollo Contra Tattoo
Written by
To tell the truth Greg‘s tattoo (by Bill Falsetta at Name Brand Tattoo in Ann Arbor, MI) is the spreadshot icon from the Nintendo game Contra, but to me in Mexico, all I can think of when I see it is Super Pollo (the fried chicken chain)… I know, they don’t really look that similar, but still…
PS. Thanks Phil for going out and snapping a photo of the sign!

I admit I’m mostly swayed by the pinup

This may be one of my favorite “geek tattoos” yet, an Internet-themed sleeve by Jason Ostricher at Talisman Tattoo in Modesto, California. It’s got everything! A monitor with dB schema, RJ-45 cables, 1011011 binary, the Web, and of course every nerd’s fantasy, a sexy Catholic schoolgirl on a laptop with a dress a little too short…
You can find more pictures of Jesse’s tattoos at KingJes.com (click on Pictures then on Tattoos).

Boobies warm the soul

For those of you trapped in the cold northern winter, may you dream of summer at night and enjoy the snow during the day. Oh, and I’m heading back to Mexico in the morning, so while I may post again today still, tomorrow may be a day of silence due to my travel commitments.
