A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

Hi, folks! And now, for today’s lesson in symbols. If you see a person waving a white flag, approach and capture them. However, if you see a person waving a self-knitted skull cozy from a sewing needle in their septum, you run. You turn your head and you run and you don’t look back.

(Says MrsRayRay, “Four gauge—the needle fits, so why not?” No argument here.)

Really pretty photo set here from Lisa, who writes:

The picture was really the photographer Karin’s idea, she just hadn’t found anyone who could do it before we started talking mod pics just for fun. My ex is a body mod freak and could help us with the hook part. This was actually my first time with hooks.

And a fine first time it is! One more photo, after the jump.

Hey, it’s our returning champion, babylovedoll! (Previously.) This shot is part of a set for the brand new issue of Nickel Empire, Alive on the Inside. “Support sideshows,” she says, “and buy the magazine.” Hey, you heard the lady.

We’re gonna have a whole lot more Dallas SusCon photos filtering in shortly, but let’s keep it in-house for now with these lovely shots of Miss Cookie as captured by BME’s own Phil Barbosa. Those are some long since healed branding scars on her chest (as well as 3D implants), and after the jump, check out some scars on her stomach with outlines cut in with scalpels and filled in with electrocautery branding, all by her husband, Steve Haworth.

Well hot holy damn, say hello to Toronto’s own Khymeira. There’s a lot to like here—quality lighting, well-placed and healthy piercings and blue hair? That’ll do just fine. Check out a few more shots after the jump.
