Anyway, I’ve mentioned goofball SuperDirk here before, so let me share a couple more photos of him for the drunken holiday… which for me is about to begin! Phil and I went out and bought beer, green food coloring, and glasses…

Tandem Suspension Pre-Lift

If I understand this photo from CJ (that’s him on the top, and Jer on the bottom), CJ was not entirely sure that the rigging (by TSD) was done properly, so Jer was asked to lie there to break his fall should any of the bolts pop out of the wall. It might not seem like much, but falling onto concrete on your belly from five feet hurts… This way the combination of crushing Jer and the massage table padding makes it almost painless*. But maybe I’m not understanding correctly.
* For CJ only… Jer on the other hand? World of pain. But someone’s gotta do it.

Evildustin seems to have just had his face entirely branded by John Kid at the Piercing Lounge in Madison. He says it wasn’t so bad, but I’m guessing he’s got a killer high pain threshhold, a hyfrecator is brutal in my opinion… Anyway, he’s new to IAM — go say hello!

At least it’s a pretty location

I think this may be one of the first photos of an ass suspension where the person doesn’t, well, look like an ass. Now, don’t get me wrong — he’s hamming it up in the other photos in the set, but I really thought this picture had a nice zenlike “upside down meditation” quality to it. Thanks to my friend Joao_Caldara from Brasil for this.
Oh, and if you want to know what an ass suspension does to your undies…

I’ve commented in the past that I was going to get tattooed some time in Scotland because they let you drink beer while you’re having work done (or at least some people will)… Well, it seems like the Tiger Tattoo Bar in Pattaya, Thailand really must be part bar literally if the pictures of beer and cigarettes inside its walls aren’t misleading me.
He got stylized wings tattooed, and it looks like they turned out just fine (and arguably dramatically better than the average street tattoo in Thailand). Anyway,enjoy your weekend everyone — ModBlog returns next on Monday night.
