  • Geared up for a scar

    Earlier today we saw how the modifications on a young woman’s face really accentuated her beauty.  I thought I should even it up for those who prefer to see modified boys.  Now I’m not sure if the guy in the picture is a steampunk fan, a Gears of War fan, a mechanic, or something else entirely, but what I do know is that he really must like the gear design as that’s a lot of flesh that was removed for the scar.

    So what do you think?  Does the scar on this guy work as well as the piercings and tattoos from the girl earlier today?

    A few months back Jen posted a picture that got more than a few mouths watering.  Well it turns out the young man in that image, IAM: Arseniy Andersson is so much more than a pretty face.  While we all appreciate his modelling pictures, back at home in St. Petersburg, Russia he is also known for being a piercer and performance artist.  I’m not entirely sure of the story behind these images, but from what I can tell Arseniy threw the hooks for what appears to be some form of photo/video shoot.

    Of course the question is, was the chessboard part of the shoot, or was it just something being used to kill time?  Photos of suspensions always seem to capture such fantastic moments.  I suppose when you know the subject isn’t going to be going anywhere, the photographer can really set themselves up for a beautiful picture.  So while it may be a couple suspended tandem over a stream, or a good looking guy playing chess while in an abandoned warehouse, the opportunity for an interesting image is always present.

    A nice BMEBoy entry for the ladies……or the gents who swing that way. In either case this blue eyed boy hails from Russia and goes by KonstantinZvyagin. But be warned, he has a bit of an ego to go with those piercing blue eyes of his seeing as the description of the photo was : “ I have beautiful eyes ”

    This picture was submitted without much info. All I know if the artist was credited as Artist: Jurec from Latvia, Daugavpils. Whether the artist was the person who threw the hooks or took the pictures I don’t know.     Well hello there! Many many thanks to Arseniy Andersson for this submission.   We’ve got some large stretched lobes, some nipple piercings, music tattoos, microdermals and implants, oh my!  Most importantly, we’ve got a beautiful boy sporting all of these things!

    …would it ever be considered ok to take out someone’s hooks, clean them off and then see what piercings of yours they would fit into.

    Kevin, who submitted these pictures had this to say:

    My girlfriend and I the day after her performance suspension in Columbus, OH for the band Only Flesh.  After lovingly massaging the air from her back and cleaning her shark hooks, I played around by putting the hooks in everything I could, like my 6g labret as seen here.  This photo seems to show a lovely middle-ground between my piercing/stretching obsession and her affinity for ink.  I’m so glad we share the same affinity for body modification 🙂  Photo by Samantha Hodges.

    PS: I believe those shark hooks he refers to are actually salmon hooks.

    Really, when I came across Dr. Greenthumb’s (literally) green thumb, it blew my mind that this guy hasn’t been on modblog, much less,  not all over the intranet.

    His tattoo fits him well, being that he is an amateur herpetologist as well as a Cypress Hill fan. It also helps to gives him one of the most legit IAM names ever.

    I  had to ask the obvious, yet obnoxious, question we are all way too familiar with; “Did that hurt?” to which he responded:

    It was a rather painful area to get tattooed. Especially around the cuticle is not pleasant. As of now I have only gotten the color to stay on top with a few blotches on the pad. I am determined to continue tattooing it until it is solid all the way around, then I’m going to tattoo roots and go from there.
