A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.
  • Happy birthday Rachel!

Today is Rachel‘s birthday. She does a lot of work that goes unsung and I couldn’t ask for a better boss or friend. Rachel, I hope you have a great birthday and that you actually take a day to relax for a change. Thank you for all that you do! Happy birthday to the HBIC!

  • Forget your keys?

It’s been a while since they’ve been in stock, but I’m happy to announce the BME Key Chains are back at the BMEShop!  You should grab one today, because these tend to sell out quick.  In other shop news, we’ve got a new supplier for the key chains, so if they do go out of stock, it won’t be years before they’re back in again.  Also, expect to see the return of the BME Belt Buckles in a few weeks!

  • Here’s your new tumblr meme

I’m not even going to look, but I’m sure there’s a tumblr for cute bearded dudes with tattoos and cats somewhere out there.  And if there isn’t, there should be.  It’d be much better than any Ryan Gosling one.

The two in the photo are Joao_Caldara and his friend Gaia.

  • Venus de Scarlo

Classical work of art transformed into a scar?  You know it has to be a Brian Decker piece.

  • Forget about BMEGirls

Today is about BMEWomen.  Specifically VEAL.  A woman Shannon once called “The kinkiest housewife I know”.

Oh, there’s another photo, but you’ll have to read ahead to see it.

Be sure to check out the BMEGirls gallery to see more of this beautiful modified woman.

  • Icarus Falling

Tattoo artist Sean Ambrose describes this tattoo as “Flying man on fire“, but I can’t help but think of Icarus when I see any image of a man in the sky with his arms aflame.

Sean works at Arrows and Embers Custom Tattooing in Concord, NH.

  • There Be Dragons

It’s hard to see in the before photo, but this is actually a cover-up of a cover-up.  That’s right, this is the third dragon to live on that shoulder, and hopefully it’ll be the last one.  Jackie Rabbit took 6 hours over 2 sessions to create this monster.  I think what stands out the most for me is how she managed to get the light colours to stand out while covering up some darker ones.

  • Two in the chest

The Dallas Suscon happened last weekend, and hopefully we’ll start to get some pictures in soon.  (I’m looking at you Naked Lens).

Until then, here’s something from the #Leeds Airlines crew.  This is Viktor’s first suspension ever, and he chose a 2 pt chest for the occasion.

  • Leather and Lace

Here’s a pair of BMEGirls to help get you through the afternoon.  One is SFW, the other, not so much.

First up is Caroline452, with photography by Elusive Dream Studio.

For the next picture, you know what to do.

And here we have a familiar face, although I don’t think we’ve ever been given her name.

Photo credit goes to Photography by David.  Tattoos by Nigel Smith from Murray Bridge Tattoo and Body Piercing.

  • ANOTHER BUNNY!

You’ve seen her work on ModBlog, now you get to see her.  Meet Jackie Rabbit, the creator of all those wonderful images you’ve seen here.

Jackie works at Star City Tattoos in Roanoke, VA.  So if you’re ever in the area, now you know who to look for.
