A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • Monarch Butterfly Tattoo

This is Tobii’s first legal tattoo (a coverup — which is part of the reason you should wait until you’re legal so you can go to a quality artist), a set of Monarch butterfly wings on each ankle (half on each ankle that is). This photo was taken with one of the butterflies from the first batch she raised — both the tattoo obsession and the butterfly raising obsession were inheritted from her father, making it very significant to her. The tattoos was done by Jeanine at Valle’s Tattoo in Danbury, CT.

  • Non-Temporary Corset Piercing

Cat had this great permanent (click for a shot showing that; it’s now four months old and doing well with no signs of rejection) corset piercing done by Jason AKA Rip who works at Addiction NYC. The piercings were done with eight surface bars using CBR beads for the lacing in photoshoots and flatback beads for day-to-day wear.

  • Caught in an intense windstorm

Is it true that if you split your tongue it loses some strength and you can no longer stick it straight into the wind? Tongue splitting by Filipe Berndt Julio with pictures by Débora Catarina in Sao Paulo, Brazil. (And be sure to note the BME Kids Club neck tattoo!)

  • Tribal Penis Tattoo

Charles’s tattoo was done at Empire Tattoo in South Africa, and his piercings (an ampallang and a reverse PA in this photo) were done by Eddie Graham — he’s one of the first people Eddie (one of South Africa’s most established piercers) has worked on as far as I know.
