Yoda prefers Phil Collins
Written by
Not that I have any problem with Noel Gallagher (of Oasis), but I got a laugh out of this portrait tattoo of him because of the placement. If a time comes that the wearer is no longer a fan, they can say, “no, no, it’s not a portrait of Noel Gallager… it’s a portrait of Noel Gallager having his throat slit by Yoda!”
If I get bored one day I’m going to go through the archives and lot for other tattoo interactions… I’ll bet there are loads as people get more and more coverage. Anyway, the tattoo is the work of Kelly Macdonald at Skinz N Needles in Ashington, UK.

Nice use of UV ink in a tattoo!
Written by
As much as I like pumpkin carving, normally I think Chris’s Halloween-themed chestpiece wouldn’t jump out at me as a piece to feature, but when I saw how the UV ink in it has been applied, I changed my mind! I love it how the UV is a way to augment the tattoo with something new, a hidden element that can only be appreciated in the right environment. It was done by Alex Miller at Local Color in West Chester, PA.

Temple Heart Implant Healed
Written by
I like kissitgoodbye‘s heart shaped implant, done by Howie while at Metalurgy in Dundee, Scotland — I think if it was me I’d be in line to get a second matching one on the other side. After the break is a second photo of it under different lighting, and from the front, which is interesting because it gives you a better idea of the 3d aspect. You can also see her new white gold tooth in that shot, done by a dentist in Pretoria, South Africa.
