    It was just last April that we first saw Misty (IAM: Southtownbaby) appear on ModBlog for the first time as a scarification artist.  We had seen plenty of her own scars, as well as her many suspensions, yet to appear as a scarification artist was a major accomplishment.  Since then her scars have been featured several times, and she’s even gone on tour to New Zealand.  This mehndi inspired fan scarification was done while she was visiting Absolution Tattoo and Body Piercing in Christchurch, NZ.

    Kim “Skin Seamstress” Hutchinson (IAM: zombieprincess) has a long history of appearances on ModBlog, and with good reason.  She’s a skilled piercer that often assists photographers and models through play piercings, corsets, etc.  This shoot in particular was of Laura’s first corset, with photography by Sally Anderson.  What I like about it is that it’s reminiscent of wedding photos, specifically the bride getting ready.  While I don’t know the specific reasons behind the shoot, I do know that the end result was some great photos of a beautiful woman.

    While this isn’t a traditional Arlecchino mask, it’s pretty clear that it’s some form of harlequin that fits perfectly on to this young man’s skull.  IAM: RAFAEL is the artist behind this skull piece.

    I’ve been told that coma suspensions are among the most relaxing suspensions, and it’s easy to see why.  Check out the custom head rest they’ve used, which is a big step up from the roll of paper towel we’ve seen in the past.

    Unfortunately I don’t have any information on who facilitated the suspension.  Remember, every time you send in photos, fill out all the boxes so artists and teams can get the credit they deserve.

    I’m loving how well IAM:twostep’s piercings all work together.  The fact that it all matches is just icing on the cake and him being a handsome devil doesn’t hurt either.  I especially dig the big cartilage paired with the lobes.

    This little heart branding belongs to IAM: 4wheeler.  As you probably have already guessed, this isn’t the whole picture.  Well that’s because the heart is only the tip of this elaborate brand.

    That’s such an cool waterfall, don’t you agree?  The water cascading down into the churning waters of the river.  Oh, and there happens to be lovely tattooed woman in there as well.

    I’m a sucker for a well groomed beard, as many people know.  Aussie beard guru WayLay Jake knows this very well, and knows that if he sends in a photo of his beard (and of course his many modifications, including that amazing rhino scarification on his stomach) he’s going to see his mug on ModBlog.  This photo is just one of many from a fundraiser Jake did to help out the victims of a house fire.  The WayLay Suspension gallery has the all the photos of his sideshow act, so be sure to visit them.  Oh, and if you haven’t noticed yet, you can comment on photos in the galleries, so make sure to mention to Jake how awesome his beard is.
