A tattooed person suspends from hooks, laying flat, one leg higher than the other. Their head is back, and they seem to be smiling, dark hair dangling like an anime character.

  • They call her Anna

It’s true, her name really is IAM:theycallmeanna.  We call her today’s BMEGirl.

She has another nickname, but you’ll have to read it for yourself…

  • Kaptive8ing suspensions

I’m not sure what’s in the water in Eugene, OR, but somehow they manage to come up with some of the craziest suspensions.  Well, maybe it’s not everyone, it could just be Supa.

You’re seeing that right.  One hook in his wrist, the other in his left bicep, with an additional set of hooks linking his knee to his elbow.  Why?  Because he’s Supa, that’s why.

And just so you don’t think Supa is the only one who has fun when the Kaptive8 Suspension Krew gets together, here’s another suspension from the same day.  It’s a 5pt resurrection suspension, and just as a warning, hooks in the face are extremely dangerous.

  • Pulling Free

Everything about this photo brings a smile to my face.  Especially knowing that this was IAM: Zmashd‘s first pull ever (she’s on the right), makes it that much better.  On top of that, the pull, which was facilitated by IAM: Vegenero, lasted about 2 1/2 hours, and only stopped because Zmashd’s friend got tired.

  • Custom Cupcake

Joeltron and Kylie Garth from First Blood in Sydney finally finished a project they’ve been working on for a while, a complete microdermal cupcake (with sprinkles!).  Here’s what Joel has to say about it.

This awesome cupcake dermal anchor project was done over a number of sittings during the last few months. There are 33 in total and we did them in 8 sittings, around 2-3 weeks apart. Super stoked to FINALLY get a picture of them all changed and settled in! If you are wondering, the ‘sprinkle’ (rectangle) pieces were custom made by first cutting down a round disc and then anodizing them.

  • No Ordinary Blossom

One glace is all it’ll take for you to know where this tattoo came from, and I’m not talking about the red watermark in the top right corner.  Joey Pang‘s style is all over this piece, with the branches created out of abstract brush strokes, and the flowers so lifelike you’d think they were real, or at the very least painted on with a calligraphy brush.
