When I first opened up this photo, I couldn’t tell if it was a tattoo or a scarification because it looks like there is barely any scaring at all. Ryan Ouelette, who spends his free time addicted to video games, can be found at Precision Body Arts in Nashua, NH.

Fredl of Art & Soul in Mannheim, Germany is the artist credited for the work below. This is probably one of the more extensive “skin rip” tattoos that I’ve seen. While anatomy tattoos aren’t very common, the few people sporting larger pieces tend to have them extremely detailed. I’d be interested to know if he worked off of any specific resource material or came up with the design based on the wearers own muscle tone and flow. It seems to work pretty well. One of the biggest “trends” in body modification “fashion” has been the decorative threaded end. I’ve seen Body Vision‘s assortment and it’s pretty killer, especially with everyone from gangster dudes to soccer mom’s sporting the tear drop microdermal these days. It’s a way to customize the jewelry for yourself and I think it’s pretty cool. I don’t know if this 14k yellow gold anchor is one of theirs but they make all kinds of threaded ends to suit whatever your needs are. This is Allen and he apparently did the microdermal himself at Superfly Tattoo in San Diego, California.

I’m not sure if any of you have noticed but there are a lot of photos on BME of body suits or back pieces where the person who submitted the photo put a black bar across their buttcrack. To me this actually brings more attention to the fact that a buttocks was even in the photo so I was pleasantly surprised when Diau Chuan, the artist responsible for the tattoos below, didn’t stop us from having our daily dose of rear end nudity.

I’m not going to lie, this tattoo gives me the creeps. It’s like Clint Eastwood is coming for you after he just finished kicking Chuck Norris’ ass. I really like this branding. I’m not sure why it’s so appealing to me but it’s incredibly striking. grundstuck‘s seemingly perfect circles were carefully electrocauterized by Quentin at Kalima in Worthing, UK.

Brenno Alberti out of Bodyfactory.it from Trieste, Italy sent in a whack of photos to update his portfolio. Italy is on the top of my list of places to visit.
