Sparrow!

At a quick glance this may appear to be a pretty lifelike version of a pair of sparrows, however if you look closely, you’ll see that it isn’t.  Nail has managed to use abstract shapes and lines to create the effect of a pair of birds in flight, and the result is simply stunning.

    factoid – all drawings are a series of lines and shapes 😉
    I don’t think this really falls under abstract, however that doesn’t matter cause it’s awesome either way

    hoorah these are actually sparrows seen too many tattoos labled “sparrow” when there actually a swallow. like johnny depps jack sparrow tattoo for instance

    Agreed with Beardsley: this is not abstract. It’s a cute tattoo, but not “abstract shapes and lines.”
