A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Encircled by the Flight of a Bird

Fans of artist Joan Miro will recognize this instantly.  Jamie from Tattoo Temple in Hong Kong has reproduced Miro’s “Woman Encircled by the Flight of a Bird” on this young man’s forearm.  By taking a look at the original, it’s safe to say Jamie definitely faithfully reproduced the painting even with the change in medium.

Gotta say, that painting might not have translated into a tattoo very well. Just looks like a technicolor vomit really.

re #2 – Sometimes, when it’s warranted. I tend to think the positive or neutral comments outweigh the negatives, but I haven’t really looked at the ratio. Could you do that for me, Spike? Since you care so much, I mean.

OH that’s right, we live in the Glee generation, where everything has to be peaches and cream and roses and chocolate-scented farts, where every comment absolutely must be positive and affirming and supportive. Well, in that case:

OMG! That is like totally the raddest tattoo I have ever seen in my entire life!
