A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

It’s Smile Time!

What is it about cheek piercings that make people’s smiles seem bigger?  What’s neat is that these aren’t actually cheek piercings; they’re microdermals put in by Joeltron.  Joel just updated his BME gallery with a lot of his recent piercings, so head on over and check it out.

p.s. Sorry if the headline got your hopes up for a puppet related post.

She sure did! I think anchors, if done correctly, in the right areas can last forever.

I have had ones myself happily in for over 4 years and cheek anchors heal up very very fast due to the rich blood supply and thick tissue.

  • Suspended, Not Silenced
There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension.
