A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Pull the pin

At first glance I thought this was a Green Day tattoo, but given the stylistic differences between this original by Viktor Sigil and the art used for one of Green Day’s album, it’s safe to say this isn’t a band tattoo.

Viktor works at Self Sacrifice in London, England.

I don’t think you should jump to any conclusions here. A client goes into a shop with a photo or photos and asked the artist for something, it doesn’t mean the artist knows where the design came from or that another artist is using it as their logo.

And it does resemble Green Day’s American Idiot album cover.

No link to Green Day cover artwork… It is exactly the same design as Bammer’s logo. 😉
Indeed, I’m agree with you Jen.
But, mosts of tattoo artists ask to their clients where they found the design if they want exactly the same… So, an untruthful client (who said “I drew it”) , or a an artist with a lack of integrity…? 😉 Just kidding 😉
