A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Sleepless in Seattle

I think it’s a safe assumption that Pessimisaurus really loves Seattle.

I like that Andrea Ottlewski chose to go with a non-traditional skyline for this tattoo, instead choosing to highlight the natural aspects of the Pacific Northwest as well as the urban.

This is awesome, I have been looking for someone to put something similar on me underneath a pre-existing back piece. Who did this?

this is my tattoo. the design was created by the artist, Andrea Ottlewski of Slave to the Needle in Ballard, but the concept was my own. it was indeed my intention to spotlight the infinite natural beauty that surrounds our city rather than make it a “Seattle” tattoo. Andrea translated my vision perfectly. thanks for the spotlight!

Washington landscapes stand on their own; no need for a department of tourism! Awesome tattoo.
