A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Rest in Peace – Michael Butz

It’s with sadness that I have to be making this post today.  Michael Butz, IAM:ShaggyDope, passed away recently.  All of us here at BME are saddened to hear of his passing, and our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.  We’ve updated his IAM page to serve as a memorial for those who knew him.  Messages to his family can be left here.
