A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

The gang’s all here

When it comes to free fall suspensions, the Sinner Team has it down to a science.  This being one of the most dangerous suspensions, it’s best not to even think of attempting it unless you’ve done a LOT of homework and have a lot of experience not only with suspensions, but with rigging and rope climbing.  With Stanislav and Elena having taken the plunge, the rest of the team lined up for their own turns jumping off the bridge.

Now, they haven’t sent in any photos of the crew’s jumps, but they have put a copy of the trailer for their free fall suspension film online.  The film is set to premiere at Oslo Suscon, so those of you attending, be sure to keep an eye out for it.  I’ve also got a video in my inbox from Stanislav that I haven’t had a chance to look at yet, but when I do I’ll be sure to upload it to BME so everyone can check it out.  In the meantime, check out the trailer below.

Luckily enough it’s still working, so that I can type this.

Shaza – It appears they are also wearing rock climbing harnesses – that probably holds most of their body weight in the initial plunge, but obviously not all of it. I’m sure its still a lot of pressure on the hooks as they swing. Looks amazing. If I didn’t have a bad back I’d *pun* jump at the chance!

    Thank you, guys!!

By the way – the harness is used just for safety, all the load is going only on hooks. with the scale of this object – it is about 220 kg, and we use 4 hooks – so it is safe from the side of tearing the skin if the compensation systems are working okay.

And this does`nt hurts very much, really 🙂
