A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Tying one off

No, this isn’t a go get drunk on new year’s eve post.  Although if you’re still looking for a party, the BME New Year’s Eve Bash is open to all, so if you can get to Virginia, head on over to BME HQ.  And no, you don’t have to get drunk to have a good time on new year’s eve.

Now, back to the post, as I said, this isn’t a go get drunk post, it’s a “check out this corset done by Suzanne from Modify Body Piercing in Adelaide, South Australia” post.

The only info on the model is that her name is Bec.  Photography by Tahlia Gray.

I like the idea, but it just doesn’t work out well for here. The piercings could be spaced in a more visually appealing manner.

Gotta love hyperextended elbows. They freak more people out that most mods.

I agree with the above poster. Also, if someone says something about her weight, positive or not, for no reason, I might have to eat a gun.

Then why mention it? My observation is the lack of tattoo’s! Very beautiful and clean skin, nice piercings. Did they stay in? Did they reject? Are they regular 14g cbr’s or d-rings?

    Hi guys!
Wow, I didn’t even know this was submitted!

With the above posters, the plan was to do more higher up and further out, but Bec [the model] felt like that was her limit for her at that time, so there was no way I was going to push for more. We added red ribbon to it in a few other shots which I think looked a lot nicer than just the black.

I look forward to reading future comments and suggestions if anyone has them!
    happy new years to everyone!

There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension. We all build up ideas about ourselves—what we’re allowed to feel, how much we’re allowed to express, when it’s okay to break.
