Congrats Dotty!

This stunning photo shows Dotty at 29 weeks pregnant. A few weeks later Talina was born (on March 30th at 12:59 AM), after 21 hours of labor. She was 10 pounds 9 ounces, and 22 inches long.

BME always get excited when one of our own has a child, it gives us a wee glimmer of hope for the next generation.  To see Talina’s picture, keep on keeping on.

    So Lindsay is a close friend of mine, and knows I love her and this isn’t directed at her at all… But isn’t it funny how a former ModBlog author wanted to blog about modified moms and got told it was irrelevant? Yet someone ‘more popular’ does it, and receives no flack. Funny how this ‘community’ works…

    That’s patently false. Not to mention that this is NOT the first time a modified mom has been blogged about. I posted when Monica (IAM: Orinda) had her baby. Other baby announcements have been made and Gillian, the former BME intern, wrote an entire article on modified moms that is still readily available.

    It’s a shame that this was brought up in this post. Or at all since it’s completely untrue and the history of stories like this one on ModBlog alone is enough to prove that.
