A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Nicotine Patch?

I (Rickey Wheeler) tried to talk him out of it but this kid (18 years old) just loved cigarettes too much. I asked him to let me cover it with a black smokers lung if he ever quits, haha.”

That lettering is a barrel of wonkys. 🙁 And I’ve known lots of people who were super brand-loyal to the Cowgirl Killers, but they were all chicks! 😀

Is it just me, or does it seem to slant down as the letters go on?
And this makes me feel better about myself for quitting.

Talk about brand name loyalty. Today marks exactly three months since I quit smoking and I feel great. Only pussies can’t quit.

I’m glad to hear the artist tried to talk him out of it, cause that’s about the worst tattoo idea I’ve ever seen….

it’s not the cleanest, but not bad at all. Notice the point of view is a bit below the tattoo, and it’s on a curved body part.

I did this tattoo the month I started back tattooing after over a year break with out touching a machine. So yes, not my cleanest work by far. I have a portfolio here that shows my latest work. And as for the lettering, its a xerox of the cig box and then sent right through the thermofax, it’s on his arm, it’s not flat.

He shoulda gotten an old school tattoo of a pack of Lucky Strikes. I’m not a smoker but I could see charm in that.

vaguely punk/old school in todays anti-smoling society but it would have been much better to have the entire pack in full colour
