A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

    I am so jealous. I never bleed with piercings and when I was scalpeled I figured I certainly would bleed big time. Nope. What I would have done to have that to wake up to.

    side note:: DF jewelry?

    For those asking, my ears were 1 7/16″ before this procedure. The scalpeling was basically to open up the lobes a little and re-direct the stretching. It definitely wasn’t done for size.

    And for the record, this picture was TOTALLY accidental. Hah. I had no way of seeing what the back looked like cause I couldn’t find a hand mirror, so I grabbed my camera and snapped a shot. Coincidentally it turned out cool cause iit focused on the lobe and was at the perfect angle to catch myself blurry in the mirror. Hah

    they’re way better now- but he was not too happy that day, as I recall. MikeD + pyrex + the flu = unhappy lobes. (he got the flu after the scalpel, he’s not stupid.)
