I’ve always had a thing for ‘negative’ (colored) tattoos. And this fits right in there.
Part of me thinks he should continue the black down to cover his shoulders and really meet the chest tattoo.

2.5 hours? his neck must have felt like hamburger after… *cringe* that said (and to echo #5), huge props to the artist for such a solid piece, and the detail on the flowers is ridiculously beautiful. i’m not usually a fan of neck tattoos but this one is certainly different from most i’ve seen, it has such a clean and solid look to it.
