A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Child’s Drawing as a Cutting

We’ve seen lots and lots of examples of people getting their kids drawings tattooed on them, or even getting their kids to tattoo them, but I think this is the first time I’ve seen a kid’s drawing done with scarification. Trash at Kamikazes in Guadalajara, Mexico did this scar based on a drawing that his son created.

i wonder how old this is. some of the spots in the house look scabbed still, but that could just be the way the scar itself looks.

too bad there wasn’t more definition in the healing, i think it’s a pretty neat idea!

silvereden – i think it still looks scabbed as well. i wonder how it’ll look in a year when it’s more healed. the nice thing about scars like this (that fade too much) is I assume you can get them recut with no complication.
