Shannon – that’s the great thing about art, different people see and appreciate different things. I think I’d like it more if the rest of the helmet weren’t outlined, but as it is it just gives me an unfinished feeling. To me it makes the wings too bold in contrast and it seems to fade behind them, I don’t know, maybe that’s just me. I absolutely love the shading on the whole helmet apparatus, it’s so soft and lifelike and detailed and just stunning! The skull looks really lifelike (deathlike?) as well.
I really can’t wait until I get some more work done so I can get my IAM account going again and see more of this guy’s work.

SeanyBwoy – tattoos are on skin, skin moves. I think it might just be the slight angle to her shoulders and the slight angle on the photo. Personally if this were on me I wouldn’t care if it were crooked or not, it’s beautiful anyway. Besides, they say perfection angers the gods.
