A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Before I read that I thought someone had skinned a bird. It’s actually pretty cool, although when it dries won’t it be brown?

Reminds of this thing I saw with women who paint pictures of star wars figures in their period blood =S

I used to draw and write with blood too. Not period blood, just blood from my cuts (not self harm).

I usually draw on my body with period blood, it’s really fun to do :9

    Beautiful…
I once painted a willow tree in blood on some old papyrus I had made when I was a kid. It dried a burnt umber sort of colour, but it looked really interesting on the papyrus.

I, somewhat naively, didn’t think there’d be anyone else out there who did this sort of thing! I’ve been painting with blood from self-harm for years.

It really is a lovely bird… I especially like the little feet.

And yes, Legacy, it will be a nice brown when it dries. Some of my paintings from a few years ago are now the warmest, prettiest shade of brown.

    Cheers.

I woke up this morning looking like a carver victim (if anyone watches nip/tuck they get that, if not it means i had blood lines from the sides of my mouth down my cheeks) my tongue splitting apparently bled overnight and just seeped out all over.

I saw this on Cold Case last night.

Or maybe it’s CSI…they are all running together.

Ok, if I had thought about this before, I would have never thought that I would ever need to say it, but officially I never want to see/hear anything mentioned about people drawing on anything with period blood ever again. Just. So. Gross.

The bird looks fairly realistic. I’m not so keen on the media used to render it however (however, it is better then if it had been menstral blood).

Is there any proof that this is actual blood?
