A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Endorphins from cutting… literally

Prodigy got this very “appropriate to the artform” cutting — C158H251N39O46S — of the chemical formula for endorphins by CutThroat in Phoenex, AZ.

    That’s actually a cell phone pic. I think? I can’t remember.

I haven’t had a really good look at it since it was done. Just a peak under weird circumstances. Still legible.

I’m 99% sure that as I suspected her wearing a bra is keeping it from raising, but her other scars aren’t really raised either. So I guess it’s not that much of an issue.

She tried to get me to do that hexagon and lines representation of it (“it” is the human strand of beta-endorphin, btw), but it would have had to be like 6 feet long. Haha!

well actually wouldn’t the endorphins that are released into the body upon cutting be the “literal” endorphins from cutting, and the characters on her body a figurative representation thereof?
