I’ll post another shot of Sicko later today but let me put up this teaser of the great hand work that Marc at Swastika Freakshop in Radolfzell, Germany hand poked on his hand… Because of the nature of the skin in the hand, hand poking (or stipple technique in general) works far, far better than machines most of the time.

Very cool. I love all the detail in it.
God I love the stuff coming out of that shop!
everything out of that shop is amazing
without word!!!!!!!du mongoooooooo!!
Brilliant, as always
How is skin on the hand different, and how does it make it easier to be ‘poked’ rather than machined?
Looks great, although having your hand swollen like that would not be very fun.
wow thats is beautiful awesome!
what kind of needle do they use for there hand poking method??
this was not a hand pocking, done this with machine and with a 9 liner needle
Ah right the paragraph at the top was a bit misleading. But how is the skin different?
I am also curious of the difference in techniques, as I’m planning some hand tattooing in the future.
